The first Christians were a special kind of community.
“They Devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to pray” (Acts 2:42)
In other words, they taught one another and studied the scriptures together. They hung out and had fun together.
They were in each other’s lives. They had strong authentic friendships. They ate together and reflected upon Jesus’ impact on their lives. And they prayed for one another.
So why wouldn’t Christ followers be doing the same things today?
At First Baptist, we want you to experience all the Christ has for you; and we are certain that part of God’s plan for your life is being involved and connected with other Christ-followers. Sharing life with others is biblical! Find your Connect Group today!
Connect Groups meet primarily on Sunday mornings during the 9:30am and 11am worship service.
