DESCRIPTION: A class open to God’s Word and to each other. Members’ children range in age from middle school to young adults. The purpose is to care for each other, fellowship regularly, participate in missions, and pray for each other and our children. Through Bible study, we learn principles for living to equip us to face the issues of our culture.

LIFE APPLICATION

DESCRIPTION: Our class studies major Biblical topics for the purpose of applying God's Word to our daily lives.  Class discussions include looking at what the passage means, how to apply it to our lives, and how the timeless principles of Scripture show the way to handle present problems of daily life.  We enjoy great fellowship as we study and discuss together.

CLASS GOAL: To see others come to know Christ as Savior, and to grow in our service to Christ and others by studying God’s Word and applying it daily.

SOCIALS: Our socials are held approximately every six weeks.  They help us get to know each other better and enjoy times of friendship.

DESCRIPTION: Married five to fifteen years, This is a first time marriage for some and second for others. Most of us have children, ranging in age from birth to early teens, although some couples have not yet experienced the joys and challenges of parenthood. The main focus of our class is to grow in our spiritual walk in order to make our marriages stronger in Christ and to grow ourselves individually to better serve our world.

Discussions are geared toward how to apply the Bible to our everyday lives as we keep the Main Thing the Main Thing. We encourage real discussions about what matters most based on God's Word. We enjoy fellowship with one another which comes easy to all our class members.

A one year study of the New Testament (started August, 2011)

Sunday: 11:00AM
Leader: Carlton Arnold; Dennis Paschedaq

 This is a two year class with one year in the Old Testament and one year in the New Testament. The particular class will start with the New Testament.

 The class provides a strong and comprehensive view of the Bible as a whole and a book by book study of the New Testament.

 Topics include the following:

  •  A historical view of the 400 period of silence between the Old and New Testament.
  •  The creation and acceptance of the books of the New Testament.
  •  An examination of “other” books that were not included in the Bible.
  •  A detailed look at the four gospels.
  •  An examination of all of Paul’s writings.
  •  A full and complete discussion of what it means to be a Christian as defined by the New Testament.
  •  A seven week study of the Book of Revelation with a complete understanding of the “end times”

 The class has requirements for attendance:

  • 75% attendance
  • Read the New Testament
  • Complete a workbook
  • Serve others in the class

 The class also sponsors Home Bible Studies every other week that includes baby/child sitting.
