This is a weekly Prayer Meeting and Bible Study led by our Pastor, Dr. Bob Jolly.

There is a time for prayer.  A prayer guide is distributed to everyone who attends.  The guide identifies specific prayer requests as follows:

• Information on Church Prayer Chain 
• Praises for births, new members, etc. 
• Mission Opportunities 
• Church members in the hospital 
  • (Hospital Phone Guide is included) 
• Church members experiencing an illness 
• Sympathy for those who have lost loved ones 
• People who need to know Jesus Christ 
• Church concerns 
• Those serving in the military 
• Those who are unemployed 
• Requests for Friends & Family 

Our pastor also leads the group in a Bible Study.

Romans has been called the Constitution of our faith. This book contains rich truths that have rocked the Christian world in the past. This letter of Paul's challenged hearts to prepare them for the Reformation which changed Christendom. Martin Luther's life was dramatically altered by one verse. "For in it the righteousness of  God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, 'But the righteous man shall live by faith.'"  Rom. 1:17 

Precept is a method that uses a straightforward investigative approach to open the Bible and build the context for each statement it contains. That's where we find God's precepts or principles for life. Inductive study is the tool used to collect those precepts to build a God-glorifying, Bible-centered worldview with clear applications to live the abundant, victorious life in Christ.

What is Inductive Bible Study?

 Inductive Bible study shows you how to discover God's Truth for yourself. The concept behind the inductive study method is to get students personally, intimately involved with the subject, observing carefully for themselves. For example, if we were studying frogs using the method, we would begin by taking students to the pond to touch and observe real frogs before taking them to the library to study books about frogs.
