Q: Who do I talk to if I have trouble setting up my account? A: Contact the Church Office at (770) 887-2428 and they will direct you to someone to assist.
Q: Who should give electronically? A: Anyone who is looking for a simpler way to assure their giving. Anyone who would like to give to the ministry of First Baptist Cumming on a one-time or recurring basis.
Q: Is Online giving secure? A: We’ve taken steps to ensure that the giving process is safe and secure from beginning to end. All of your giving data is secured by SSL encryption. SSL is an acronym for “Secure Socket Layer”, a security protocol that provides communications privacy over the Internent. It is the same technology used by banks and e-commerce companies such as Amazon.com to keep your information safe and secure during transactions.
Q: When are gifts processed? A: Gifts are initiated whenever you choose – one time or recurring.
Q: How do I schedule payments to match my bi-monthly paychecks? A: If your paychecks come on the 1st and 16th of every month, you will need to create two monthly schedules. One that starts on the 1st of the next month, and one that starts on the 16th of the next month.
Q: If I don’t write checks, how do I keep my checkbook balance straight? A: Your contribution is made on a pre-established day that you choose, so you can deduct it from your checkbook then.
Q: What if I want to cancel or change my electronic giving? A: No problem, if you need to change or cancel a recurring payment, just log into your password protected account, go to Payment History and follow the link to cancel a recurring payment. If you want to make a change it is better to cancel your old payment, and then set up a new payment with new information.
Q: Will my electronic gifts be included on my Statement of Contributions? A: Yes, they will be included.
Q: Will I receive a contribution statement? A: Yes, we will mail your year-end giving statement directly to your home address.
Q: Can I designate my electronic gift to a special purpose? A: Yes, you can designate or allocate your donation to any approved fund, such as, General Fund, Building Fund and the Missions Fund (Acts 1:8 offering).
